My quest through world history is structured by country or region, rather than historical period. Like my US History plan, my world history reading plan is to alternate between fiction and non-fiction books, to help me reinforce historical events and immerse in a given period a little more. I find this helps me appreciate historical events and context better by taking this approach. Once I reach the last historical period, I will cycle through these periods again. This list represents by first complete cycle through world history.
